middle school was awesome cause there was no homework, and since the school was smaller by a grade, you know alotta people. High school is great though on account of you have so much freedom its almost overwhelming. but, the homework is tough as hell. But, when you become a senior and have alotta credits, you only have 4 maybe 5 classes instead of the usual number, which is great. you decide which is better...freedom (WOOO!!!!! YAAAAHAHHHH!!!) or no homework and knowing alotta people (woo)

High school, by far! You have so much freedom (not as much as being in College), but you can do what you want. I'm a Sophomore (go 2006!!), and it's so much fun. There are Freshman Friday's (the week of Homecoming when the Freshman get beat up by the upper classmen), Semi Formals, Proms..it's so much fun.
ADVICE: If you like acting, be on the Speech Team- it's AWESOME! Be in as many sports as possible, get excellent grades, and you'll love high school! |

Actually I've heard this been asked by a few people. Its a more common question then you might think. Even in college you hear people comparing college life to their highschool days. Its not a dumb question by any means.
The thing about highschool is not that it's "better" per say. Thats a very subjective thing anyway. You'll just never forget highschool. You won't forget middle school either but highschool just has more of an impact in your life. Its also where you really start to figure out who you are as a person. If you were popular or a loser in middle school, unless you live in a really small town.. it dosn't really matter. You can somewhat reinvent yourself in highschool and forget those years. Middle school won't really effect you that much. Its three years of your life that don't have much meaning. Your not doing anything special except going through puberty. Highschool on the other hand is when you really start to get into more serious relationships, some people get really into their music and art, others get into politics or sports. Most importantly its the time of your life when your social skills are put to the test. You could be an quiet shy keeping to yourself introvert your whole life and then in highschool, Bam become a very outgoing extravert. For some, highschool will be the greatest time of your life, for others its going to be a haunting nightmare. Highschool is going to in many ways define who you are in later years. It will be a major experiance for you, make it worth while. Its the time in your life you can really take chances and go nuts (and hopefully learn from your mistakes). I had a blast in highschool. Would I want to relive those years? umm I don't think so. lol, I'm happy where I'm at right now. Great times though. But let me tell you, college is sooo much better...lol. So if your worried about how highschool is, try not to. Just Have fun, make friends, and have a blast. Get into trouble. lol. Enjoy years to come and make the most of them. You'll always remember your highschool days. Learn from the good advice, ignore the bad.

Hey, I am a junior in high school and let me tell you its not better then middle school it SUCKS!!! So if i were you be glad that your in the middle school or where ever because when i was younger i always wanted to be in the high school and now that i have been there for 3 years it really sucks.. you have no time for friends because all your doing on homework, and @#%$ like that....
So yeah my opinion because i am there now is Middle Deff!
