ok cheerleaders are not preps. i am a cheerleader and so not a prep. we just do a sport for fun, just because we get the guys, and are flexible, and most likely cute, dont mean u have to hate us. we are just doing something for fun, and i also do it to keep in shape. so i think yall cheerleader haters need to shut up b/c it is just like doing track, volleyball, or football. we do it b/c we enjoy it. you may listen to music b/c u enjoy it well we cheer b/c we enjoy supporting our school team and we like to have fun. if u got a problem with it u can im me.

aight you guys! This needs to stop! I am a cheerleader! And before I was a cheerleader I was a tom-boy! I wore boy clothes I played boy sports and everything! I played Baseball for 4 years Soccer for 6 and Basketball for 2 years! I am not mean to anybody at my school and I sure aint snobby!! I have a bunch of friends who are punks! YES they listen to rock! YES they wear black clothes and some of my friends are gothic! I listen to ROCK!! acually I love it!!! I think it is awsome! What you see is HOLLYWOOD CHEERLEADING! ok so you saw movie BRING IT ON! SO WHAT!?! You dont know what other squads are like......I know my squad is hard as a bytch!! I passed out 4 tymes since I have been on this team! It all depends on who your coach is! I am not slutty and I still chill with my boys! I am not afraid to get dirt on me I Love reptiles!! I even have a snake!! I also have 9 hermit crabs! I think you need to stop juding people before you even know them! Just because I enjoy dancing and fliping and stunting doesnt mean I am a preppy lil snobb!!! So chilll out! and you know what come to think about it! I am glad I dont live where ever your from and I appreciate my friends that like to wear different clothes then me!  Hey well i got something to say!!! I used to b a cheerleader last year i recently quit because i wanted to play volleyball instead! But i cheered since 1st grade and quit when i was in the 9th grade and i thought that it was pretty fun u dont really do any thing ..well not compared to other sports yeah you got to lift and everything but actual sports are harder. O yeah and i also say that cheerleading is only a sport if you compete. But cheerleading is really fun and no one that cheered with me or anyone that i met on the other squads that were mean stuck up or n e thing else yeah some of the lil hoes pulled up their skirt but well thats their prob and it shows who they are and that really they just want something from guys and their personality!@m@nth@ |

Anyway, cheerleading can be as serious as you want it to be. It all depends on your attitude towards it. If you go into a team with an angry mind and an already "all cheerleaders are sluts" mindset, then I doubt you'll have any fun. Not hard at all, is it? Well, we have to be as athletic as gymnasts, as strong as football players, and we have to look cute while we do it. Lucky for the rest of you, you can make faces and grunt and groan all you want. We have to smile and look sweet no matter how miserable we really are. I challange you to go out for a competative team. No, not those really awful, poorly coached ones. I mean the serious, all out squads. Survive the whole season, then come back and say all you want about cheerleaders. |

Hey umm dont we already have about 5 boards on cheerleaders? why do we have to keep starting more its not like were ever gonna agree who cares. Some of us are cheerleaders some of us are not... Woohoo! were still people! but i have to say im ashamed of the other cheerleaders who push so strongly so they care what other people think of them ex. wether we can flip jump etc... we no we can do it! why argue!?

All I have to say is it isn't a sport.... In our hs programs the list all the sports and activities..... sports on one page and activities on the other..... guess where cheerleading and pon poms are. So even the high school doesn't reconize it as a sport. Point made

I do have a problem with that, sorry to say. Those who are cheerleaders do it because it makes them happy. And if you guys are trying to reject happiness from our lives by saying things like that, then THAT my friends, is what is the issue. Cheerleaders are what we are, not who we are. We shouldnt be labeled as preps...we shouldnt be labled as sluts, nor snobs, we need to be labled as people, because that is who we are, we just have more fun being them, then others. We do not go around and say to you that we dislike you because you make no sense when you speak, or that we dont like the way you act, or care what you have to say, but the point is we listen and watch, we dont host open opinions about you, and list every cheerleader as a one person you know. We dont hold steriotypes against you and we certainly dont judge your stupidity with music, comments, or opinions. So basically what you all need to do is...shut the hell up and stop worrying about everyone elses life...get working on the one you dont have.

 i dont see why every one hates cheerleaders. they arent all preppy. i dont like preps either and i aint one but not all cheerleaders are the same. my cusion is a cheerleader and she works very hard to be good at it. i have seen alot of cheerleaders and ya some of them are preps but that is their problem. that doesnt mean that u have to hate all of them.   |
